2020 gray filly- She is by Trojan Nation, a son of leading sire Street Cry and out of Eclipse Award 2 YO Champion Filly Storm Song by Summer Squall. Trojan Nation was 2nd in the G1 Wood Memorial and competed in the 2016 Kentucky Derby and Belmont Stakes.

 

Beyonce is out of Sail on Sailor, a daughter of Mizzen Mast and out of Encore by Storm Cat. Mizzen Mast has sired over $69 million in earnings and 63 black-type stakes winners. Cordoba is the dam of stakes winning Sky Flight.

 

Beyonce is currently 16 hands with a good-sized frame. She was started lightly as a two-year-old and ridden again lightly as a three-year-old. She is a pleasure to have and train. She knows how to load, catch, lunge, pony, stand tied, stand for trims, and ride at walk and trot. She is turned out for the winter and will be started fully in spring 2024. She has a quiet and kind disposition without being reactive or spooky. She has flat, light strides that would be nice for the hunter ring. She has the disposition to eventually be an amateur or youth horse.
